FAQ

The tool automatically marks conflicting sheet numbers with an asterisk (*) since sheet numbers must be unique in Revit. You can manually update these numbers after duplication.

Yes, the sheet duplication options allow you to selectively include or exclude views, legends, schedules, images, lines, and text. Uncheck categories you don't want to include in the duplicated sheets.

"With Detailing" copies all annotations and dimensions, "Without Detailing" copies only the model geometry, and "As Dependent" creates a linked view that updates when the original changes.

Sheet duplication is more complex as it involves copying multiple elements (views, schedules, annotations, etc.) and their relationships. The process may take several seconds when duplicating multiple sheets with extensive content.

The naming modifications are applied during the duplication process. If you need different names, you can use the ReNamer tool afterwards or manually rename individual elements as needed.

Yes, duplicated views maintain their view template assignments and visibility settings (or those can be switched). However, if you modify view templates later, dependent views will update while independent duplicates will not.
